Buckeye Wheeled Fire Extinguishers

Buckeye fire has been making fire safety equipment for over 4 decades. The company has earned a reputation for quality, reliability, and value within the commercial and industrial fire protection industry.
One of their many safety products is their wheeled fire extinguishers. The wheeled fire extinguishers made by Buckeye Fire are DOT/TC approved, UL/ULC approved and built with high-quality steel for well-balanced, rugged steel frames. The units come with full rubber or semi-rubber wheels that make transporting these large fire extinguishers easily for one person.
Wheeled fire extinguishers made by Buckeye fire are available in three main types, they are Halotron, Carbon Dioxide and Dry Chemical.
Halotron Wheeled Fire Extinguishers
Halotron wheeled fire extinguishers are designed to extinguish class A, Class B, and Class C fires. The extinguishing agent, Halotron, is considered a clean agent and ideal for fires involving sensitive equipment such as computers, airplane computer systems, databases, server rooms, research facilities, and automobile/marine service centers.
Halotron wheeled fire extinguishers can be fitted with a tow loop at the top of the steel frame which can then be used to tow the fire extinguisher with any vehicle that has a hitch.
Buckeye makes two Halotron wheeled fire extinguisher models – They are:

Note: Both models are also available in Offshore models.
Carbon Dioxide Wheeled Fire Extinguishers
Carbon dioxide wheeled fire extinguishers made by Buckeye fire are designed with solid rubber tires, and a well-built and balanced frame, which can be transported by a single individual. The extinguisher is UL/ULC approved as well as DOT/TC approved cylinders.
Carbon dioxide wheeled fire extinguishers are designed with plated brass valve assemblies. The extinguishing agent, carbon dioxide, is designed for Class B and Class C fires. Additionally, the carbon dioxide is a residue-free agent which classifies it as a clean agent and can be used on fires that involve sensitive electrical equipment (Class C fires) without causing damage.
Carbon dioxide wheeled fire extinguishers are commonly found in areas where sensitive electrical equipment fires may occur as well as in refineries, shipboard, laboratories, chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, and some construction sites.

Dry Chemical Wheeled Fire Extinguishers
Buckeye Fire offers a comprehensive line of dry chemical wheeled fire extinguishers that include ABC dry chemical, Purple K dry chemical, and Standard dry chemical wheeled fire extinguishers.
The ABC Dry Chemical uses monoammonium phosphate as the extinguishing agent and is commonly used for Class A, Class B, and Class C fires. The Purple K Dry Chemical fire extinguisher uses Potassium Bicarbonate as its extinguishing agent and is designed to be used on Class B and Class C fires. The Standard Dry Chemical fire extinguishers use a sodium bicarbonate-based extinguishing agent that is designed for Class B and Class C fires.
Note: None of the dry chemical fire extinguishers made by Buckeye Fire are designed to be used for fires that involve sensitive electrical equipment as the dry chemical extinguishing agent can damage the electrical components.
All the dry chemical wheeled fire extinguishers made by Buckeye Fire are designed to be moveable and operable by a single person through hallways/doorways, around corners, and over rough terrine. All dry chemical wheeled fire extinguishers can be modified with a tow loop to make long distance transportation easier with the use of a vehicle that has a hitch. All dry chemical dry fire extinguishers are rechargeable and meet the UL, ULC, TC, and DOT requirements. Some models are also US Coast Guard Approved.
Dry chemical fire extinguishers are designed to be used for offshore rigs, ship docks, refineries, chemical plants, aircraft ramps, remote construction sites, large laboratories, processing plants, storage and loading areas.
