The ABC Chest Ascender is intended for use in activities such as rope climbing, rescuing operations, and working at high altitudes. It is intended to be used as part of a fall stop system, which includes a climbing harness and other accessories designed for particular rope climbing activities
This patented chest ascenders is strong. It can be used on ropes ranging from 8mm to 13mm. It is made with a patented lever that, when suppressed, allows for safe and easy down climbing without removing the ascender from the rope.
The ABC Chest Ascender has a comfortable rubber grip that stays that way even in harsh, wet conditions. The rope cam is designed to hold even on dirty, muddy or icy ropes.
