Kidde’s Pro 340 fire extinguisher is rated for A, B, and C-class fires. It is designed for use on moderate hazards in light manufacturing, dining areas, auto showrooms, parking garages and storage areas. As with other Kidde fire extinguishers, the Kidde Pro 340 features a bilingual nameplate and carton, with instructions in English and Spanish.
Use the Kidde Pro 340 for the following types of fires:
- Class A: trash, wood, paper
- Class B: liquids, gases
- Class C: energized electrical equipment
The PRO 340 is fitted with a pressure gauge that provides at-a-glance status, is manufactured from lightweight aluminum cylinder with a tough aluminum valve assembly.
A 3-A:40-B:C rated extinguisher is required for protecting MODERATE hazard occupancies such as: home garage & workshop, light manufacturing, dining areas, auto showrooms, parking garages & storage areas.
