The set includes six interchangeable inserts that show varying stages of cervical dilation and effacement. Although the inserts appear identical from the outside, a number code on the back identifies the internal cervical condition for each stage. The inserts may be used on their own as training aids or as an extension module for a birth simulator.
The trainer comes complete with six birth stage inserts, a safety plate with four screws, lubricant, and a carry bag for storage and transport.
