It allows users to rehearse intramuscular injection technique with a syringe and to repeat the procedure until they gain confidence and control. The simulator supports practice up to depths of 50 mm and is suitable for training in the administration of injections such as vaccines and time-release medications.
The model includes a simulated muscle mass that absorbs fluid during use, along with quick-change skin pads that can be pierced multiple times. After training, the simulator can be dried and stored without taking up much space. Included accessories help support immediate use and ongoing practice.
