Designed to simulate a right upper leg, this training model displays important palpable landmarks, including the patella and greater trochanter, for realistic practice of correct intramuscular injection placement. Built-in electronics provide audio-visual feedback for correct or incorrect injection, bone contact, and false localization, supporting both practice and performance review.
The simulator includes training and control modes that can be used for immediate or later performance checks under training conditions. A durable silicone skin layer is included and can be replaced quickly and easily when needed, helping maintain the model for repeated use in skills instruction.
