The Airex Calyana Prime Exercise Mat combines soft cushioning with durable construction for a reliable mat-based training surface. Developed in collaboration with yoga teacher Buket Akkus, it is suited for yoga, Pilates, rehabilitation, stretching, floor exercises, and strength training. The closed-cell foam construction with an integrally molded skin adds toughness, while the knobbed underside helps resist slipping during use. At 73 inches long and 26 inches wide, the mat provides generous coverage, and its 0.2-inch profile offers light cushioning that can help reduce strain on joints, knees, tendons, and the spine during floor work.
This latex-free mat is extra-soft, tear resistant, and designed with transverse ribbing to support flexibility for rolling, carrying, and storage. It is lightweight at less than 4 lbs., making it easy to move between locations. The mat also floats, which makes it suitable for water therapy and water-based exercise applications. Integrated sanitized hygiene protection helps inhibit odors and the growth of fungus, bacteria, and mildew, and cleaning is simple with fresh, soapy water followed by air drying.
