The gel is completely aqueous, acoustically correct across a broad range of frequencies, and suitable for procedures that require a viscous coupling medium.
Made from pure water and free of perfumes and dyes, this gel is non-staining and designed to be gentle in use. It is hypoallergenic, bacteriostatic, and non-irritating. Aquasonic Clear is intended for application to the transducer surface rather than directly to the patient. It is non-sterile, contains no formaldehyde, and is not a spermicide.
