The Austin Air Bedroom Machine is Austin Air's most advanced room air purifier and was designed with, and endorsed by, the National Sleep Foundation. Its 5-stage filtration system combines granular carbon and military grade carbon cloth to help remove airborne particles, gases, chemicals, and other indoor pollutants from the air. The unit is certified to remove 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns or larger and 95% of particles down to 0.1 microns. In studies conducted at Johns Hopkins, the Bedroom Machine reduced nitrogen dioxide levels in homes and was shown to help remove indoor pollutants, including nicotine. Built with solid steel and a non-toxic powder coated finish, it is made without plastic or polystyrene and does not introduce off-gassing from those materials. The 360-degree intake draws air in from all sides, passing it through the filtration system for whole-room cleaning. It also features an industry-leading filter with a 5-year life and includes easy roll casters for portability.
