Product Description
The Austin Air Bedroom Machine uses a 5-stage filtration system built around a pre-filter and a proprietary 4-stage filter assembly. This replacement filter includes 60 sq. ft. of medical-grade True HEPA filter paper, a layer of 15 lbs. of granular carbon and zeolite, and a military-grade HEGA carbon cloth layer. Together, these components are designed to reduce commonly found household odors, gases, chemicals, pollutants, viruses, bacteria, and airborne particles.
This black replacement filter is intended for the Black and Midnight Blue Bedroom Machine units. It is the filter only, and the air purifier unit is sold separately. Replacement requires work gloves and a Phillips-head screwdriver. Under typical conditions, the filter is engineered to last up to 5 years, although heavy use environments such as homes with pets, new carpeting, paint fumes, smoking, urban pollution, or photo studios may shorten service life.
