Product Description
This replacement filter is designed for the Austin Air HealthMate Junior and helps maintain the unit's filtration performance. The filter system includes 30 sq. ft. of True Medical HEPA filter paper, 6.5 lbs. of activated carbon, and an advanced military carbon cloth positioned inside the HEPA filter to help capture odors and gases. When used as part of the HealthMate Junior system, it is intended to remove 99.97% of airborne particulate matter larger than 0.3 microns and reduce a wide range of toxic gases and odors.
HealthMate filters are designed for extended service life, though actual filter life can vary based on conditions such as pets, new carpeting, paint fumes, heavy smoking, urban pollution, or studio use. Routine upkeep is simple and includes periodically vacuuming the outside of the machine to remove visible dust and larger particles.
