Product Description
The Austin Air HealthMate Standard relies on its replacement filter to deliver its multi-stage air cleaning performance. This black replacement filter is built with a pre-filter surrounding a proprietary three-stage filter system that includes 60 sq. ft. of True Medical HEPA filter paper, 15 lbs. of activated carbon, and advanced military carbon cloth placed inside the HEPA media. Together, these filtration layers are designed to reduce airborne particulate matter larger than 0.3 microns and help capture odors and gases. The HealthMate Standard air purifier is sold separately. Under typical conditions, the filter is engineered to last up to 5 years, though heavy use in environments with pets, smoke, paint fumes, new carpeting, or urban pollution may shorten service life.
