Product Description
The Austin Air HealthMate Standard replacement filter is the service component for the HealthMate Standard Air Purifier, sold separately. Built around a proprietary three-stage filtration design, it includes a pre-filter, 60 sq. ft. of True Medical HEPA filter paper, 15 lbs. of activated carbon, and an advanced military carbon cloth positioned within the HEPA filter to help capture odors and gases. This filter is engineered to remove 99.97% of airborne particulate matter larger than 0.3 microns while also helping reduce a wide range of toxic gases and odors.
Designed to support long-term use, the filter is rated for up to 5 years under typical conditions, though high-demand environments such as homes with pets, new carpeting, paint fumes, heavy smoking, urban pollution, or studio use may shorten service life. Routine maintenance is simple and includes periodically vacuuming the outside of the unit to remove visible dust and debris.
