Product Description
The Austin Air Small Pre-Filter in black is a replacement pre-filter for compatible junior size Austin Air air purifier units. It is designed to trap larger visible particles such as dust, hair, soot, and pet dander during the first stage of the unit’s multi-stage filtration process. By collecting these particles before they reach the inner filters, the pre-filter helps support filter maintenance and extend the life of the HEPA filter assembly.
This replacement pre-filter is intended for the Black and Midnight Blue Allergy Machine Junior, HealthMate Junior, and HealthMate Plus Junior units, and it is also suitable for Baby's Breath air purifiers. Installation requires work gloves and a Phillips-head screwdriver. The pre-filter is engineered to last for up to 5 years, although service life may be reduced in environments with heavy particulate exposure such as homes with many pets, new carpeting, paint fumes, heavy smoking, urban pollution, or photo studios.
