Product Description
The Austin Air Small Pre-Filter in white is a replacement pre-filter for compatible junior size Austin Air purifier units. It is intended to trap larger visible particles such as dust, hair, soot, and pet dander during the first stage of the unit's multi-stage filtration process. By collecting these particles before they reach the inner filter layers, the pre-filter helps reduce buildup and support the performance of the HEPA filter and other internal components.
This replacement pre-filter is suitable for the White and Sandstone Allergy Machine Junior, HealthMate Junior, HealthMate Plus Junior, and Baby's Breath air purifier units. It is a replacement part only; the air purifier and complete filter assembly are sold separately. Routine maintenance may include vacuuming the outside of the unit to remove larger surface dust and debris. Replacement can be completed with work gloves and a Phillips-head screwdriver.
While the filter is engineered to last up to 5 years, heavy use conditions such as pets, new carpeting, paint fumes, smoking, urban pollution, or studio environments may shorten its service life.
