Product Description
This Baseline BIMS Digital 5-Position Grip and Pinch Dynamometer set updates traditional hydraulic testing with load-cell digital technology. The design is hydraulic oil-free and uses no moving parts that are prone to leaking or breaking, helping support consistent performance over time. Adjustable 5-position handles and paddles accommodate a wide range of hand sizes and allow testing at multiple grip positions.
The system is simple to operate with select and delete functions for starting and resetting tests. Real-time strength readings are displayed in both pounds and kilograms, and the device calculates mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and other statistics. Grip testing measures up to 300 lb (135 kg), while pinch testing measures up to 100 lb (45 kg). The deluxe model adds timed test protocols that are useful for research, Workers' Compensation, FCE, and everyday clinical use.
Results appear on a full-color LCD screen and can be stored on the device or transferred to a local PC. Bluetooth connectivity is included for future application support. The set is designed for both strong and weak patients and includes a plastic finger goniometer, foam carrying case, and user manual.
