The Baseline BIMS Digital 5-Position Grip and Pinch Dynamometers bring digital load-cell technology to hand strength testing in a clinic-ready format. Compared with standard hydraulic units, this design supports accurate, repeatable, and consistent measurements while eliminating hydraulic oil and moving parts that can wear, break, or leak. The adjustable 5-position handle and paddle settings accommodate a range of hand sizes and help support testing at different grip positions.
Operation is straightforward with simple select and delete functions for starting tests and resetting to zero. The device displays results in real time in pounds and kilograms and calculates statistics such as mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation to help reduce manual processing time. The clinic model is designed for timed testing and includes preset Max Force, Quick, and General Strength protocols for use in clinical settings. Results appear on a full-color LCD screen and can be stored on the device or transferred to a local PC. Bluetooth capability is included for connection to future applications.
