Baseline BIMS Digital 5-Position Grip Dynamometer uses load-cell digital technology to provide consistent grip strength measurements without hydraulic oil or moving parts that can wear, leak, or fail. The adjustable 5-position handle is designed to accommodate different hand sizes and support testing at multiple grip positions. Measurements are displayed in real time on a full-color LCD screen in both pounds and kilograms, with a capacity of up to 300 lb (135 kg).
The deluxe model expands on the Clinic model with additional timed testing options suited for research, Workers' Compensation evaluations, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and routine use. Preset protocols include Max Force, Quick, General Strength, Rapid Exchange, Modified Maximum Voluntary Effort, Maximum Voluntary Effort, and Fatigue. The device also calculates statistics such as mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation, helping save time during testing and reporting. Results can be stored on the device or transferred to a local PC, and Bluetooth connectivity is included for future applications.
