Product Description
This digital pinch dynamometer is designed as an advanced alternative to traditional hydraulic models. Using load-cell technology, it delivers more consistent measurement performance while eliminating hydraulic oil and the moving parts associated with leaks and mechanical failure. The adjustable 5-position paddles accommodate a range of hand sizes and allow testing at multiple grip positions.
Operation is straightforward with simple select and delete functions to begin a test and reset the device to zero. The unit calculates key statistics, including mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation, to help streamline test review. Strength results are displayed in real time on a full-color LCD screen in both pounds and kilograms, and the device supports testing up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
The deluxe model includes additional timed test protocols for research, Workers' Compensation, Functional Capacity Evaluation, and routine clinical use. Preset testing options include Max Force, Quick, General Strength, Rapid Exchange, Modified Maximum Voluntary Effort, Maximum Voluntary Effort, and Fatigue. Results can be stored on the device or transferred to a local PC, and Bluetooth support is included for future application connectivity. A fitted foam carrying case and user manual are included.
