This Baseline HiRes Plastic Absolute+Axis Goniometer is built with an integrated Absolute+Axis at the end of one arm to help establish a true vertical or horizontal reference point before measuring. The 360 degree head and 12 inch arms support a variety of goniometric applications, while the HiRes design uses a white line behind the measurement gradations to improve visibility during reading. By removing the need to estimate vertical or horizontal alignment, this goniometer helps reduce measurement variability and supports more accurate positioning of the other arm and the patient body part.
The Absolute+Axis design is intended to improve measurements commonly used in clinical assessment, including shoulder and hip rotation, cervical flexion, extension, rotation and side bending, hamstring flexibility, and active range of motion.
