The mat measures 5 ft x 10 ft and uses 1-3/8 inch polyethylene foam, which provides a firmer feel suited to more strenuous exercises. Its accordion-style construction allows the mat to fold every 2 feet, helping reduce the space needed when the mat is not in use.
The mat is covered with 18 oz. fire-retardant, phthalate-free PVC coated vinyl. The cover is sewn around the foam and is made to be strong, mildew resistant, antibacterial, and easy to clean with a damp cloth. Velcro ends allow connection to another mat to create a larger surface when needed. Square side walls and reinforcement at stress points add durability for repeated use in professional settings.
