This CanDo Convertible Staircase is designed to adapt to different room layouts and training needs. The interlocking design allows the staircase to fold into a corner arrangement or lock into a straight line, making it suitable for a range of rehabilitation exercises. It includes a 30-inch platform and is built with an all-hardwood plywood base finished with an ultra-durable UV-cured topcoat.
The staircase includes a one-piece handrail support system with solid hardwood handrails that arrive pre-assembled for added convenience. Safety-focused construction includes a brace-reinforced underside, powder-coated steel uprights, and steel fasteners for added support and durability. Each step features two full-width safety treads and PVC edge tape. The unit has a 500 lb bariatric load capacity and requires a minimum 9-foot ceiling.
