The CanDo Digi-Extend Hand Exerciser is a therapy device that isolates extension movement for all five fingers and individual finger joints. It is intended to support strengthening of the intrinsic and extrinsic muscle groups while helping maximize extensor tendon gliding, joint motion, coordination, and muscle function in the hand and forearm. The exerciser can be used to focus on the extensor mechanism of one finger or multiple fingers, depending on the exercise needs of the user.
Resistance can be adjusted through four color-coded band levels, allowing patients to work at a comfortable starting point and progress as strength increases. The device also supports finger adduction, abduction, blocking, and flexion exercises. Its compact design makes it practical for therapy use, while the simple resistance changes and flexible hand positioning help support a range of rehabilitation exercises.
