This CanDo inflatable ABS ball measures 29.5 inches in diameter and is finished in blue. It is commonly used for balance and coordination work, flexibility exercises, strength training, vestibular movement, equilibrium therapy, and seated support. Fitness professionals also use exercise balls for stretching and conditioning programs, and they may be used in birthing classes as well.
The ball features a non-slip ribbed PVC vinyl surface for extra security during use. It can be under inflated for a softer feel or fully inflated for a firmer, more responsive feel. The extra thick ABS construction is designed to support up to 600 pounds, and the material is formulated to release air slowly if punctured by a sharp object. This slow air release system is effective up to a 280 lb. capacity.
