This CanDo one-sided staircase is a space-efficient corner unit made for environments with limited room. The 30-inch platform allows patients to ascend and descend the stairs while using the rigid, bolt-through mounted handrail for support. Each step measures 10 inches long by 30 inches wide by 6 inches high, and the staircase requires a 9-foot ceiling minimum for installation.
The unit is built with an all hardwood plywood base and finished with an ultra-durable UV-cured topcoat. Solid hardwood handrails come pre-assembled for added convenience and a comfortable grip. Steel fasteners and metal braces add support and durability, while two full-width safety treads on each step and PVC edge tape help improve safety during use. The staircase is rated to support up to 500 pounds.
