The CanDo Upper Body Kit is a five-piece accessory set made for the CanDo Deluxe Chair Cycle. It adds upper body exercise capability to the cycle so users can pedal with the arms instead of the legs. The kit is intended for those who use a wheelchair or who cannot sit comfortably on a conventional exercise cycle, and it supports progressive exercise through adjustable resistance. A turning knob on the unit allows resistance to be set from 0 to 29 lbs. for a customized workout.
The set includes left and right hand straps, left and right extension arms, and a long front leg wall support. Attaching the extension arms to the long pedal arms increases the pedal arm radius and range of motion. The hand straps provide support for the hands and wrists during exercise, and the spring-loaded support is designed to help users maintain grip without requiring a firm hold.
