The Intelect Transport 2 Electrotherapy/Ultrasound Combo System combines two treatment modalities in one lightweight unit for convenient use in clinical and mobile settings. Its ergonomic design and built-in rechargeable battery-powered pack support tabletop, cart, or transport use, while the quick-connect magnetic cart attachment makes it easier to move between locations. The system offers independent controls for each of the two stim channels and allows users to save up to 15 custom protocols in memory positions.
Ultrasound capability includes 1 and 3.3 MHz operation with interchangeable applicator sizes and LED coupling light transmitters in 2 cm2, 5 cm2, and 10 cm2 sizes. The system is intended for a range of therapeutic applications, including muscle spasm relaxation, prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy, increased local blood circulation, maintenance or increase of range of motion, and relief of chronic pain. It may also be used for therapeutic deep heat treatments for sub-chronic and chronic conditions such as adhesive capsulitis, bursitis with slight calcification, myositis, soft tissue injuries, shortened tendons due to past injuries, and scar tissue.
