Product Description
This Comfy Splints elbow and hand combination orthosis features a two-part internal frame that supports extension of both the elbow and hand in one system. The design accommodates upper extremity flexion synergy and can be adjusted to help improve positioning and range of motion for functional use. The hand component can accept pronation and supination, and a supinated hand position may be rotated toward neutral as needed.
The orthosis is fully adjustable and is suitable for gradual extension of clenched fingers, wrist, or hand. It is also useful for supporting treatment needs related to spasticity and deformities associated with CP, CVA, disuse atrophy, or other neurological disorders. The unit comes standard with a Full Hand attachment and is also available with Hand Roll or Hand Thumb attachment options depending on user needs. The elbow may be ordered with a goniometer for added positioning support.
