Product Description
The Comfy Finger Extender Hand Splint is designed to act as a buffer between the fingers and palm in a tightly contracted hand. It supports gradual therapeutic increases in range of motion at the DIP, PIP, and MP finger joints while helping position the hand comfortably. Firm finger rolls cushion the space between the palm and fingers and provide support for the wrist. A T-shaped frame allows the splint to slide in and out of the hand with ease, and the patented malleable frame can be adjusted for a customized fit within a prefabricated design. This pediatric medium size is intended for hands measuring 3 inches to 4.5 inches from wrist to tip of middle finger. The terrycloth cover is removable and machine washable, and the Dri-Release terrycloth with FreshGuard is made to help wick moisture, reduce odor, and help prevent skin breakdown. The splint is ambidextrous and suitable for either the left or right hand.
