Product Description
The Comfy Splints Terrycloth Comfy Finger Extender is a prefabricated hand splint designed to act as a buffer between the fingers and palm in a tightly contracted hand. It supports gradual therapeutic increases in range of motion at the DIP, PIP, and MP finger joints while providing a stable, cushioned fit. The T-shaped frame slides easily in and out of the hand, and the patented malleable frame allows clinicians to customize the fit as needed. The terrycloth covering is removable and machine washable, and the Dri-Release terrycloth with Freshguard is designed to help wick moisture, reduce odor, and help minimize skin breakdown. This pediatric small purple splint measures 2.5" to 3.5" from wrist to tip of middle finger and is suitable for the left or right hand. It is commonly used after sports injuries, following cast removal, in sports medicine, and to support weakened extremities in arthritis patients.
