The Comfy Finger Extender Hand Splint helps position the hand by creating separation between the fingers and palm in cases where the hand is tightly contracted. Its design supports gradual therapeutic gains in range of motion at the DIP, PIP, and MP finger joints while providing firm cushioning through graduated finger rolls. The T-shaped frame is made to slide easily in and out of the hand, and the patented malleable frame allows a clinician to shape a customized fit within a prefabricated splint. This pediatric large size measures 4.5 inches to 6 inches from wrist to tip of middle finger and includes two graduated hard finger rolls. The terrycloth cover is removable and machine washable, and the Dri-Release terrycloth with FreshGuard is intended to help wick moisture, reduce odor, and support skin comfort. It can be used on either hand and is suitable for use after sports injuries, after cast removal, in sports medicine settings, or for support of weakened extremities in arthritis patients.
