Product Description
This bariatric alternating pressure mattress system is designed for pressure ulcer and bed sore management and includes the mattress, quilted cover, and 16 LPM air pump. The mattress uses a cell-on-cell construction with twenty rows of 10-inch cells to support comfort and help reduce the risk of bottoming out. It offers alternating pressure mode, low air loss performance, and a static mode option when a firmer surface is needed. The system also provides up to 24 hours of protection in the event of power loss.
The included high-flow pump features a dual compressor and five settings for patient comfort. It automatically resets from static to alternating mode after 45 minutes. The ventilated nylon-polyurethane air cells are designed for durability and easy replacement, and any section of the mattress can be deflated to zero pressure without affecting the alternating pressure function. Nine air cells include laser holes to help keep the patient cool. The head section includes CPR quick deflate cells for added safety. The quilted nylon zipper cover is low shear, fluid-resistant, vapor permeable, and machine washable.
