Product Description
The Solstice Safeguard Bed combines the familiar look of the Solstice Bed with added safety-oriented design features for use in care settings where fall risk is a concern. Raised, molded-in wall panels run laterally along each side of the bed to help reduce the risk of injury from falls, while the partial paneling helps provide a sense of comfort and security without fully restricting movement. The bed is intended for use with a 36 inch by 75 inch mattress sold separately. Three ballast doors are included on the bottom to accommodate sand bags. The bed measures 80 inches long, 36 inches wide, and 27 inches high, and has a weight capacity of 1500 lb.
