The Solstice Safeguard Bed combines the look of the Solstice Bed with added safety-focused features for patient use. Raised molded-in wall panels extend laterally along each side of the bed to help reduce the risk of injury from falling, while the partial paneling helps provide comfort and security without fully restricting movement. This bed is designed for use with a 36 inch by 75 inch mattress sold separately and includes three ballast doors on the bottom to accommodate sand bags. It is sized for institutional and care settings where a secure bed design is needed for fall risk patients.
