Product Description
The Sync Slim Chair with Ballast Door is built for lounge environments where flexibility, strength, and ease of care are important. It can be used on its own or combined with other In Sync Modular Series seating to create adaptable seating layouts over time. The chair features an ergonomic form made with rotational molding technology and high-impact polyethylene construction for added strength and a smooth, easy-to-clean surface.
This model does not use steel or wood components and includes an integral plinth base for stability and improved floor mounting integrity. It can be secured in place or fastened to the floor using concealed pilot holes. The design also provides sound dampening characteristics. For added weight on site, the chair may be filled with sand through the optional ballast door, which is not included with this model. The ballast door secures with tamper resistant screws.
The chair is tested to ANSI/BIFMA X5.1-2011 with a 1500 lb. static load rating, passes Flammability UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196 showing a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. It also passes Cal 133 flame retardant testing, with test reports available upon request. Manufactured in the USA to ISO quality standards.
