Product Description
Designed for clinical use, the Detecto Apex Digital Clinical Scale features a sturdy column design, an extra-wide flat platform, and an attached handrail to help patients maintain balance during weighing. The inline mechanical height rod provides integrated height measurement capability, while the large clinical-blue LCD makes the weight reading easy to view. Units can be locked in either pounds or kilograms, and BMI calculation is included for added patient assessment support.
This scale offers a 600 lb capacity with 0.1 lb resolution, or 270 kg capacity with 0.05 kg resolution. It includes an AC adapter, dual wheels for transport, an integral bubble level, one RS232 serial port, and one micro USB-B port. The Apex is also HL7 IEEE 11073 compliant and supports Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and Welch Allyn connectivity on select models. NTEP certification supports accurate weighing for patient dosing applications.
