Detecto's APEX-RI portable scale is designed with a separate remote indicator and a sturdy, flat platform for efficient weighing. The platform measures 17 in W x 17 in D x 2.75 in H and features a textured surface for dependable footing. The scale supports up to 600 lb x 0.2 lb or 300 kg x 0.1 kg, and the 0.75-inch clinical-blue LCD provides easy-to-read weight information. Units can be locked in kilograms or pounds, and BMI calculation is included. A 6 ft/1.8 m cable connects the base to the indicator, and the integrated carrying handle supports portability. The scale can be powered by AC or 12 AA batteries and includes an RS232 serial port and a micro USB-B port. It is compliant with HL7 IEEE 11073 and arrives ready to use with no assembly required.
