This Detecto digital veterinary scale is built for veterinary practices, animal health facilities, and zoos that need a portable and durable weighing solution. The stainless-steel platform measures 36 in x 22 in and provides a low 2 in profile, while raised edges help contain liquids on the platform. A remote indicator with a 7.0 ft cable allows flexible placement for easy viewing and keypad operation.
The scale supports a capacity of 550 lb and displays weight in .2 lb increments or .1 kg increments. It includes a HOLD key to retain a reading after the animal steps off the platform, and a TARE function for subtracting the weight of a basket, box, or crate used during weighing. Built-in wheels and an integral guide handle make transport easier, and the wall-mount display bracket and mounting hardware are included for stationary use. The unit can be powered by the included AC adapter or by 4 AA batteries, and the programmable auto-shutoff helps conserve battery power. USB connectivity supports weight data transmission to an electronic medical records system.
