A pre-installed motor is located near the foot section for convenient operation, and it can be assembled or disassembled without tools, even while the patient remains in the bed. The included hand pendant features large, easy-to-use controls, helping patients and caregivers make adjustments with less effort. Built with channel frame construction and a zinc-coated spring deck, this bed is designed to provide strength while reducing overall weight. It supports up to 450 pounds and includes a 9-volt battery in the motor to lower the head and foot sections during a power failure, up to nine times. Washable end panels help simplify routine cleaning and maintenance.
