The Drive Delta Ultra Light Semi-Electric Hospital Bed is a lightweight, easy-to-assemble bed system that includes full side rails and an innerspring mattress. Its universal-style head and foot boards are interchangeable and feature high-impact composite end panels. The foot section weighs 50 percent less than conventional foot sections, helping make delivery and setup easier.
Assembly requires only five components, and the motor assembly can be installed or removed without tools while the patient remains in the bed. A self-contained single motor and junction box help reduce noise and limit interruptions during use. In the event of a power failure, the built-in 9-volt battery can lower the head and foot sections up to nine times without the use of a crank. The hand pendant features large, easy-to-use controls, and the channel frame construction with a zinc-coated spring deck provides strength while reducing overall weight.
