Product Description
This semi-electric hospital bed from Drive Medical features a lightweight, interchangeable design that is intended to simplify setup and transport. The universal head and foot boards are interchangeable and use high-impact composite end panels. The foot section weighs 50 percent less than conventional foot sections, helping reduce strain during delivery and installation. Assembly requires only five components, and the motor assembly can be installed or removed without tools while the patient remains in the bed.
The bed uses a self-contained single motor and junction box to help reduce noise and limit disruptions. In the event of a power failure, the built-in 9-volt battery allows the head and foot sections to lower up to nine times without a crank. A hand pendant with large controls is included for easier operation. Channel frame construction with a zinc-coated spring deck provides added strength while reducing overall weight. This model supports up to 450 lb.
