The Drive Delta Ultra Light Semi-Electric Hospital Bed is designed for easier handling, assembly, and day-to-day operation. Its universal-style head and foot boards are interchangeable and use high-impact composite end panels. The foot section is 50 percent lighter than conventional designs, helping reduce delivery strain and making setup more manageable. Assembly requires only five components, and the motor assembly can be installed or removed without tools while the patient remains in the bed.
This bed uses a single self-contained motor and junction box to help reduce noise and minimize disruption. In the event of a power failure, the built-in 9-volt battery can lower the head and foot sections up to nine times without the need for a crank. The updated hand pendant features large controls for easier operation. Channel frame construction with a zinc-coated spring deck provides strength while helping reduce overall weight. Full side rails are included for added safety.
