This bariatric mattress replacement system from Drive is built for users weighing up to 1000 lb and features a 10-inch deep cell-on-cell air design to help reduce the risk of bottoming out. It is intended to assist with pressure redistribution for individuals with up to Stage IV pressure ulcers and may be used in home, long-term care, or acute care environments. The advanced digital pump allows custom setting adjustments, and the system will automatically return to alternating pressure mode if static mode remains active for more than 2 hours. In the event of a power outage, the mattress provides up to 24 hours of use. The mattress cover is 4-way stretch, low sheer, fluid resistant, vapor permeable, quilted, and zippered. If an air cell is punctured, the 20 individual air cells can be removed and replaced. A pillow function keeps 3 air cells at the head of the bed in static mode for added comfort. The system also includes 3 diagnostic alarms to help identify whether an issue is with the mattress or the pump.
