Product Description
This bariatric low air loss mattress replacement system by Drive Medical is intended for users who need alternating pressure therapy and effective pressure redistribution. It is designed for use with patients up to Stage IV pressure ulcers and features 10-inch deep air cells in a cell-on-cell construction to help prevent bottoming out. The advanced digital pump allows customizable settings to match comfort and safety needs, and the system will automatically return to alternating pressure mode if left in static mode for more than 2 hours.
The mattress cover is designed to stretch in four directions and is low shear, fluid resistant, vapor permeable, quilted, and zippered. For added convenience, the system includes a pillow function that keeps the three air cells at the head of the bed in static mode for improved comfort during sleep. In the event of a puncture, the air cells can be removed and replaced individually. The system also includes three diagnostic alarms to help identify whether a concern is with the mattress or the pump.
