This bariatric low air loss mattress replacement system from Drive Medical features alternating pressure therapy with a cell-on-cell construction designed to help reduce the risk of bottoming out. The 10-inch deep air cells support pressure redistribution and are intended for use with patients up to Stage IV pressure ulcers. A digital pump offers customizable settings and automatically returns the system to alternating pressure mode if static mode remains active for more than 2 hours. In the event of a power outage, the mattress provides up to 24 hours of use. The mattress cover is four-way stretch, low shear, fluid resistant, vapor permeable, quilted, and zippered for practical everyday use. If an air cell is punctured, the individual cell can be removed and replaced. The pillow function keeps three air cells at the head of the bed in static mode for added comfort. Diagnostic alarms help identify whether an issue is related to the mattress or the pump for easier troubleshooting.
