The Drive Viper Plus GT Wheelchair offers a versatile seating and positioning design intended to support a wide range of user needs. Universal armrests can be converted to desk, half, or full arm positions with the push of a button, and they adjust through eight height settings in 0.5-inch increments. The arms are also flip-back, removable, padded, and adjustable in both height and length for added flexibility.
Seat depth can be adjusted from 16 to 18 inches using the built-in seat rail extensions and extendable upholstery. The dual axle design provides multiple seat-to-floor height positions, while the over-center cross brace eliminates the need for seat guides. The backrest adjusts in angle from 5 to 20 degrees and in height from 17 to 19 inches in 1-inch increments. This model includes a 20-inch seat and elevating leg rests.
Durability and ease of use are supported by an all-aluminum frame, heavy-gauge flame-retardant nylon upholstery, quick release 24-inch composite Mag-style wheels, and urethane rear tires and casters. Tool-free swing-away footrests include easy-to-access release handles, and the adjustable anti-tipper with flip-up wheels stays attached to the chair.
