Use this infrared forehead thermometer for fast, easy temperature checks in settings where non-contact measurement is preferred. From about an inch away, aim at the forehead and press Start to receive a reading in 2 to 3 seconds. The unit features a bright LCD screen, automatic shutdown after one minute of inactivity, and audio cues during operation.
The thermometer stores up to 10 readings with date and time information, making it useful for tracking results over time. A smiley face appears when the reading is below 100 degrees Fahrenheit, while a sad face appears above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to human temperature measurement, the unit can also be used to measure the temperature of objects such as milk or a hot compress.
