The Game Ready Med4 Elite Drain Hose Kit provides two approved hoses for draining the Med4 Elite control unit. These hoses are designed for use as replacements or as an extra set for units that need new drain hoses. The Med4 should not be tipped on its side or leaned over to empty water, and these hoses are the proper method for draining the reservoirs. Game Ready notes that only Med4 Drain Hoses should be used with the control unit, as other hoses may affect performance and could void the warranty if damage occurs.
For proper use, unplug the Med4 before draining. Place the open end of each hose into a container with at least a 3-gallon capacity, then connect the hose ends to the control unit to begin drainage. Game Ready recommends draining and replacing the reservoir water every 2 weeks. To clean the filter, rinse it with water, shake off excess moisture, and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it in the control unit.
