This standard infra-red ceramic lamp includes a 250 watt ceramic heater, a 12 inch flexible arm, and a mobile base measuring 13 inches by 13 inches. The unit adjusts in height from 35 inches to 58 inches and operates on 110V power. It is intended for patients who require supplemental heat treatments at home. The ceramic heating element changes color from coral to gray when energized, and its nickel-chromium resistance wire embedded in a ceramic casting is designed to provide uniform heat transmission. The element is built with ceramic fiber insulation to help conserve energy, support efficient operation, and reduce heat build-up at the terminal area.
