Product Overview
Product Summary
The Inflight Counter-Balanced Smith Machine provides a guided bar path for controlled strength training with a wide range of exercise options. It is designed for use with upper and lower body movements and includes built-in safety features for added confidence during workouts.
Product Description
This Inflight Smith Machine offers a fixed bar system that moves along steel guide rails for vertical or near-vertical lifting. It can be used for many common exercises, including presses, squats, rows, lifts, and select lower body movements. The counter-balanced bar reduces the starting load to 13 lb, while the 7-degree angled solid steel guide rods support a smoother and more natural movement path.
For added safety, the unit includes multiple catch points along the front and rear of the machine as well as adjustable safety stops that limit the lowest travel height of the bar. The bar can be released by rotating the wrists forward or back, and the guided design helps reduce swaying during lifts. The frame is built from 2" x 4" flat oval tubing, and the machine rides on 1" linear ball bearings for consistent movement. Six weight horns are included for plate storage. Assembly is required, and no power tools are needed.
